If you are familiar with Chicago at all, you know Lake View is a very quaint neighborhood that is very artist friendly. Donte and Vanessa Mearon own and operate Spare Parts. In addition to offering unique clothing and accessories, Donte produces one of a kind art that is second to none. One of his specialties is hand painted cards. They are both beautiful and affordable. The biggest reason we chose Spare Parts as our featured business of the month is there willingness to open their business to other local artists and the neighborhood in general. We are a small boutique in the heart of LakeView East specializing in accessories, gifts, and art. We have been in business for over 20 years catering to all styles in our neighborhood. Everything from custom jewelry by local female designers to men's accessories. We like to give our customers the pleasures of personal shopping and great customer service. Hard to find designers like, Village Tannery has exclusively built leather bags for us for over 13 years. We also carry well known lines like HOBO International and Skip Hop. "This is the place to find a gift for the person that has everything."
