AAE Glass Features Glass Artist Jerry Keller

AAE Glass is proud to present Glass Artist, Jerry Keller of KellerGlass Art. I have recently had the pleasure to view Jerry's glass work and converse with him via email and I have to say, it some of the best I have ever seen. He combines music, fun and glass to create some very unique glass art. The list of people who own a Jerry Keller glass piece is very impressive. Paul McCartney and Michael Jordan are just the beginning. Living in Cleveland, Ohio and near the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Jerry's work fits right in. You can click HERE to see his gallery of work and read below about Jerry in his own words; Thanks for contributing Jerry.

Music has always helped create my dance with art.  From saxophone, to guitar, percussion, to singing, the essence of sound has helped inspire my designs. So one logical sequence in my visual thread, was to pay homage to the form of the instrument itself.   Being in Cleveland, home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, helped to nurture the series - theglass guitar.

Since around 1996, when I created four painted wood guitars for my son to rollerblade with in our Art Museum parade, the form of the guitar has seemed to blossom in many incarnations.
From paintings to hand-painted guitars, computer graphic renderings, to guitars made solely from glass, this instrument has challenged and focused my attention.  All this, while being a life-long saxophone player!  Ah, the dichotomies of life...(but yes, saxophones do surface in the glass series, also...)

After years of exploring this loaded form, and 38 years in the glass field, I find new inspirations almost daily with which to create these visual inspirations.

The guitars are a fun diversion from my usual fare of stained, etched, and cast glass windows, doors, and tables.   I also create glass and metal sculpture, and work on several high end Corporate Awards that include both casting, etching, and metal materials.   Feel free to check out my website - www.kellerartglass.com, for more guitars, both mini and full sized, and other renderings of glass creations through the years.

I must admit, that along with several galleries that the guitars are in, the Grand Ole Opry Hotel is in discussions with me about handling my mini guitars series at their shops in Nashville.  Jazz, Blues, Country....its all good!

Free 2 Night Hotel Stay for Extreme 2 Glass Fusing on December 16th

AAE Glass wants to offer a FREE 2 night stay at the Holiday Inn to the next artist who signs up for Tanya Veit's Extreme Fusing 2 workshop held on Friday, December 16th, 17th and 18th.

Extreme Fusing 2 is an advanced, 3 day workshop, taught by the enthusiastic Tanya Veit. Tanya has taught Extreme Fusing 1 at sold out studios across the country and is now debuting Extreme Fusing 2 at the brand new AAE Glass teaching studio located in Cape Coral, Florida.

The Holiday Inn is located at 1538 Cape Coral Parkway, Cape Coral, Fl 33904.  This is 3 short blocks from the AAE Glass teaching studio located at 1228 Lafayette St. Cape Coral, Fl 33904.  December 16, 17 and 18 is a weekend and would be the perfect EARLY Christmas present.  Ladies, I am going to share a man's point of view with you.  There is nothing a man likes better than to give a "slam dunk" gift to his wife or girlfriend.  If you tell him this is what you want AND you save him money by having 2 FREE nights at the hotel, he will be racing to the computer to sign you up.  You can share the room with your significant other or you can bring a friend who wants to learn about glass.  So if you are coming from Miami or Tampa or even out of state, we will save you 2 nights on your stay at the Holiday Inn.

We look forward to meeting you.

Promote Your Small Glass Art Business Here

AAE Glass would like to extend a free marketing invitation to any small glass art business who may read this blog.  We want to help you promote yourself this weekend.  We urge you to click the comment link below and share your business, not only with other glass artists, but people who love glass art. We get comments and emails from people on a daily basis saying they "love the glass art and the featured glass artists on this blog."  We have been able connect many buyers with artists and artists with buyers.  This blog not only attracts glass artists looking for quality products and step by step tutorials, but it now attracts people who love to wear glass art and more importantly this time of year, buy glass art. We want to offer you a FREE way to market yourself to thousands of potential customers.

You can say whatever you like about yourself.  Leave a link to your website, promote any art shows you are in this season and post pictures of your glass art on any or all of our social media outlets.  Facebook, Twitter, Google plus or even email us a complete article about yourself at info@aaeglass.com and we will feature you on this blog. The more creative you get, the more I like it!

AAE Glass will not be sending out any "Get your Crazy Holiday Deal Here" emails this weekend to promote ourselves...Lets be honest, are you really going to open every email you get this weekend?  Instead, we will be sending out a newsletter that will promote everyone who takes the time to use any of our FREE social media outlets to promote themselves. We will be sharing your links, pictures, and bio's with our very extensive email list.  Don't forget, Tanya sold fused glass jewelry on the retail level for years before starting AAE Glass.  She has contacts with as many glass buyers as she does glass artists...This newsletter is going to EVERYONE!

What's the catch?  We are offering this service to get more readers to this blog and strengthen the glass art community as a whole, not to mention get more sales along the way.  We want to go about our business in a different way.  We like to think outside of the box at AAE Glass.  Our mission is, always has been and always will be, help those who help you.  AAE Glass believes in helping the glass art business as a whole, one artist at a time.  When you take a workshop with Tanya Veit, you get unlimited support forever.  If you need a push getting exposure, if you are trying to turn your hobby into a full time business or if you are thinking of trying glass art for the first time, we are here to help.

We understand not everyone has the time or means to promote themselves as much as possible during the busy holiday season.  Let us do that for you.  We already have hundreds of daily readers, we have great search engine ranking and we have an extensive customer email list, all you have to do is share your information with us and we will share it with as many people as we can.  If you are looking to buy glass art or looking to sell it, we will give you a FREE forum with thousands of readers.

If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please contact me at mark@aaeglass.com.

I look forward to working with you.

AAE Glass Releases Religious Glass Fusing Decal Sheet

AAE Glass is releasing a religious decal sheet in both black and white, just in time for the holidays.  To add to the release, we have had numerous requests for a mermaid sheet.  Ask and you shall receive.  We have released a new mermaid sheet in both black and white.  All of these sheets have been designed by Tanya Veit and have been designed with your creativity in mind.  All tips and tricks of Tanya's thinking behind these decal sheets are revealed in her Extreme Fusing series of classes.  If you haven't heard about these workshops, please visit our site to see details and testimonials, they will change the way you look at fused glass and will increase your number of sales as well as your profit margin.

The new religion fused glass decal sheet includes Jewish, Christian, Catholic, Celtic and Spiritual symbols. The enamel glass fusing decals are waterslide and are NOT digitally printed. Did you know it takes 6-8 weeks to print one design? Your fused glass jewelry deserves the best, not inferior decals that will eventually rub off.

We received so many e-mails asking for glass fusing mermaids, we could not ignore the demand! This is a wonderful 5 x 5 enamel fused glass decal sheet, including several mermaids, a lighthouse, schools of fish, a cameo mermaid, killer whales and more. The quality of these decals is superior to digital (no comparison) and you deserve the very best for the final touches on your fused glass jewelry. Fires true to color - black.  Also available in white for your dark colored fused glass.

AAE Glass Appreciates Your Patience

Glass Art Will Change When You Walk Through These Doors

AAE Glass would like to update you on our progress and what we are doing to better serve you.  First off, a huge thank you to everyone who has wished us well and supported us as we have grown at a tremendous pace these past few years.  We are here because of you and it is you we are here to serve.  It goes to show that customer service, fresh knowledge and innovative products are in high demand.  Myself and Tanya always strive to answer your questions personally, in a timely manner and we ask you to bear with us as we spend the next 2 weeks opening our studio and hosting anyone and everyone who would like to stop by and say hello.  We would be happy to spend time with you while you pick our brains and we pick yours.

While we are opening the studio, we ask that all emailers be patient for answers as our time is being spent making the best teaching facility available to the glass community.  Not only are we offering glass classes, but we are going to offer classes for artists of all mediums.  Canvas painting, faux finishing, metal work and beyond!  When you see the artwork on the walls of our studio, your jaw is going to drop, it is that simple.  It is my job to convince our muralists to teach classes in our studio and I won't take no for an answer.  They are so talented and have such a passion for what they do that it would be criminal for them not to share it with those who want to learn.  I am going to make this happen for anyone who wants to learn what they have to offer.  This I promise!

We have been working tirelessly the past few weeks to make sure we have the best equipment available for you to use as we expand our Extreme Fusing series of classes.  We have had 100 sign ups for beginner classes, X1 and X2 in 3 weeks time!  This is all Tanya Veit!  If you have had the opportunity to take a workshop with Tanya, you know what kind of energy and passion she brings every single day.  She could be teaching algebra and people would want to come back for more!  She blows my mind sometimes...Most of the time!

The Extreme series of glass classes is here to stay and Cape Coral, Florida is the place to learn.  We will make sure you have the best environment to learn and expand your glass knowledge, but as important, we are going to make sure you have fun doing it.  Tanya, Mark, John and Molly are going to make sure you enjoy yourself in Cape Coral.  If you are bringing a significant other who isn't interested in glass, Mark will take them golfing, to the beach, to a local watering hole to watch football or anything else...within reason.  One thing this group does is have fun, no matter the circumstance.  We are so excited to offer our knowledge, expertise and anything else you ask of us.  We are full of energy and are here to serve.  As I said before, this is just the beginning.  We have no preconceived notions when it comes to this business.  We are fresh, going to do things professionally, have fun doing it and let the chips fall where they may.  If our students are happy, we are happy.

Again, thank you to each and every person who has helped spread the word about AAE Glass!  We have built this business through grass roots effort, word of mouth, hard work and following through on what we say we are going to do.  Simply the same qualities I look for in anyone I am going to do business with.

We look forward to seeing you at the grand opening on Saturday November 19th at AAE Glass Studio located at 1228 Lafayette St. Cape Coral, Fl 33904 from 5-9pm.  Live music, food provided by chef John and adult beverages.  If you can't make it then, we will see you in an Extreme glass fusing workshop or anytime you find time to walk through our doors.  If my excitement doesn't resonate in this blog post, then come meet us in person, you won't be disappointed.

Stop Using Inferior Glass Fusing Decals Today

AAE GLASS

Hello glass artists.  My name is Mark Veit and I am lucky enough to work with my sister-n-law Tanya Veit, as well as glass artists around the world.  Her glass art speaks for itself and her willingness to help other glass artists speaks even louder.  But this blog post is about me getting something off my chest.

For those who don't know me, I am very analytical and straight forward, I can thank my father for that.  It gets me in trouble sometimes, but more often than not, it gets the job done.  I pride myself on being as efficient and productive as possible.  For whatever reason, I have been inundated with emails and phone calls from glass artists these past few days claiming that our decals have been losing shape and the color has been fading.  Of course I reached out to Tanya for her expertise and after asking the glass artists to send me pictures of the decals they are using, low and behold, NONE of the decals are AAE Glass decals.  I kid you not, ZERO were AAE Glass designs.  Still my phone keeps ringing and my email box keeps filling with these questions.

Now many companies are trying to"duplicate" AAE Glass designs because we have the best selling designs on the market, not to mention Tanya Veit creates these designs herself.  Our "competition" is trying to produce similar cats and sea life, but with uneven whiskers and goofy bodies, don't get me started on those companies trying to copy the TREE OF LIFE decal that Tanya Veit created from scratch.  You just aren't going to get the same detailed design with the same superior screen printed images anywhere but AAE Glass.  These knock offs are digitally printed and can not hold a candle to any AAE Glass decal.  Sure our decals may cost a few more pennies, but do you want to go through 4 or 5 cheap decals before you get the image you are looking for, when 1 AAE Glass decal will do?  Not to mention AAE Glass offers superior customer service, not just in the glass industry, but business in general.  Where else can you send an email to a company and have the owner of that company, who is also a world renowned glass fuser, personally answer your questions?  This is what AAE Glass is about.  A wise man once told me, if you take care of your customers, your customers will take care of you ten fold.  The old man was right!

Remember, I like to nip things in the bud and that is exactly what I am going to do right now!

If you are using any decal that is fading or losing shape, you are not using an AAE Glass decal.  If you look back to a few posts ago, I explained why AAE Glass decals are the best on the market, BAR NONE!  If you haven't read, please take a look HERE.  I am going to expand on that statement.  I haven't run this past Tanya yet, so please keep it quiet, but here goes...If you are struggling with digitally printed decals of scenes that look like they are being copied, STOP IT!  Send me your inferior decals and I will replace them with AAE Glass decals for nothing more than the shipping cost.  We consider ourselves leaders in the industry and will stand behind our product 100%.  Not only do we provide the best decal on the market, we want to expose you to these decals for FREE.  Even if it costs us a few bucks to replace your inferior decals, we are 100% confident that you will never use anything less than an AAE Glass decal from here on out.

To trade in your inferior decals for AAE Glass decals simply email me at mark@aaeglass.com and explain to me the problem.  I will get your new decals in the mail immediately and Tanya or I will be here to answer any questions you may have along the way.  We understand that each kiln fires differently and if you have trouble on your first couple, we will figure it out together until you find the sweet spot.  Once you find that sweet spot, your jewelry will take on a professional look that could never be achieved with digitally printed decals.

Some may call me cocky, some may even call me crazy...Not a problem, I have heard it all...One thing you can't call me, in this instance at least, is wrong.  I have several decals ready to ship out immediately.  Just contact me at mark@aaeglas.com and explain to me the trouble you are having and we will remedy it.  Even if you are having trouble with our decals, WE WILL FIX IT, together.  Once fired properly, you will never use anything but an AAE Glass decal.

Thanks for letting me rant and I look forward to hearing from everyone.

Mark Veit
