AAE Glass Decal Trading Post

We were speaking with one of our glass artists recently and he came up with an idea that made sense in regards to AAE Glass decal sheets.  When we hear an idea that we think will help our artists be more successful, we put it into action.
Many glass artists use our glass fusing decal sheets but have 1 or 2 designs per sheet that they tend not to use as much.  These images differ per glass artist, so the idea is to start this blog post and turn it into a trading post.
For example, if I have 3 mermaids, 2 butterflies and a cat image from various sheets that I won't use, but you have 2 trees, 3 birds and a lighthouse that you won't use, BUT I know I will use, why not make a trade if it works for both parties?  Think baseball cards or barbies.  This will keep your inventory of decals fresh and give you flexibility in your glass art work.
Obviously these transactions will not be affiliated with AAE Glass and we won't be responsible for damaged or missing decals, but it is an opportunity for you to partner with other glass artists and churn out more glass art while saving money.  We do ask that you only list AAE Glass decals for trade as many times we will get emails from people who have used decals from other sources and ask us, "Why didn't they fire black" or "Why did they look so mashed up after I fired them."  We can't answer these questions because we use a superior printing formula that eliminates any of these types of problems. We won't put out decals with inferior quality like these.  The people who read this blog and participate in this exchange are used to the best quality decals on the market, which are AAE Glass decals
I am excited to see what this turns into.  It may work, it may not, but either way, we took a stab at a new, inventive idea.
To get this started, please list the product number, decal sheet name and particular decals you are interested in trading.  You will also want to add the decals you are looking to receive in exchange with the same method. Please share this post with any glass artists you know who use AAE Glass decals and hopefully we can generate some movement.

  1. What a great idea!!! Recycle and reuse. Someone always loves what you won't use.

  2. I have two Umbrella Tree of Life decals (#DL-150) and one sheet of Color me Bad decals (#DL-117). I would be interested in some of the decals from the Tropical Scenes sheet - the pelican or the birds in that sheet. I would also be interested in the cat head decal from the Cat Fusing decal sheet.

  3. Is there a sheet that is dogs? I like the cat ones, but have a potential customer interested in chihuahuas.

  4. We don't currently have a dog sheet, but have one in the works. Dog breeds are more unique looking than cats so we are designing it carefully. Thanks for reading.

Oh please do that dog breed sheet. I train and show dogs and no matter how much dog people like my jewelry they always ask about dog images. Specific breed shapes are very important to them. I can't wait!

  7. Is there a halloween sheet? My young nurse today asked about the pendant I was wearing. When I explained, he asked, "Can you make a demon face?"!

  10. Would anyone like to trade or sell the coyote on the new NW sheet for about any other decal? I am in AZ and the coyote would be great here.
